Good morning friends, blessings from our Lord today. I was reading over a few e-
mails I had received and saw this one. It was sent to my friend, Marilyn, and partner
in ministry.

What you probably do not know is that I have been very ill with Shingles; which
attacked the left side of my face since the 27th of December. It is one of those
times when you have to be very careful not to ask GOD Why me. During this time I
have had several family members and friends tell me I did not deserve this and
found it hard not to say it myself.

I would speak the Word to them; saying all the right things; but I believe I really was
trying to keep myself from asking the same question…..why me Lord, what have I
done or left undone to deserve this.

I thank God for whoever wrote this for my sake and the sake of many others. This
came to me when I had just about reached the end of my rope. This is to encourage
those who are going through like fiery trials; when seemingly they are doing
everything the Lord ask them to do. Listen and be encouraged today.

Me (in a tizzy): God, can I ask you something?

GOD: Sure.

Me: Promise you won't get mad?

GOD: I promise.

Me (frustrated): Why did you let so much stuff happen to me today?

GOD: What do you mean?

Me: Well I woke up late,

GOD: Yes

Me: My car took forever to start,

GOD: Okay....

Me (growling): At lunch, they made my sandwich wrong and I had to wait

GOD: Hmmmm..

Me: On the way home, my phone went dead, just as I picked up a call

GOD: All right

Me (loudly): And to top it all off, when I got home, I just wanted to
soak my feet in my foot massager and relax, but it wouldn't work.
Nothing went right today! Why did you do that?

GOD: Well let me see..... the death angel was at your bed this morning
and I had to send one of the other angels to battle him for your
life. I let you sleep through that.

Me (humbled): Oh...

GOD: I didn't let your car start because there was a drunk driver on
your route that might have hit you if you were on the road

Me (ashamed): ...........

GOD: The first person who made your sandwich today was sick and I
didn't want you to catch what they have, I knew you couldn't afford
to miss work

Me (embarrassed): Oh.....

GOD: Your phone went dead because the person that was calling was
going to give a false witness about what you said on that call, I
didn't even let you talk to them so you would be covered

Me (softly): I see God

GOD: Oh and that foot massager, it had a short that was going to
throw out all of the power in your house tonight. I didn't think you
wanted to be in the dark.

Me: I'm sorry God.

GOD: Don't be sorry, just learn to trust me.........in all things, the
good and the bad

Me: I WILL trust you God

GOD: And don't doubt that my plan for your day is always better than your plan.

Me: I won't God. And let me just tell you God, thank you for everything today.

GOD: You're welcome child. It was just another day being your God and
I love looking after my children.

Scripture References:

II Samuel 22:31: As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the LORD is proven; He
is a shield to all who trust in Him.

Hebrews 2:13: And again: “I will put My trust in Him.” And again: “Here am I and the
children whom God has given Me.”

And I would like to add one more. When you have done all you know to do the Word
says to stand!

Ephesians 6:13-18:….and having done all to stand. Stand, therefore, having girded
your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having
shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the
shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked
one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the
word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication, in the Spirit, being
watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints-

Remember: When you have given your all for Christ the Word says there will be a
time of refreshing:

Proverbs 11:25: The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also
be watered himself.

Through every trial, every test we are made stronger when we trust in Him….in His
Word. So in saying all that I will end with this Scripture:

Proverbs 3:5-6: Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own
understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

Blessings to all
