The sound of this generation will sing a new song:
Unity  is the Key to Victory

(Scriptures from New Spirit Life Bible and/or King James Version)

(Emphasis may be done for clarifying by me)

Good morning everyone. Part II of this message or study in itself has a two-fold meaning. I will
explain it this way.

When we meet the Lord, we just shake hands with Him. We really do not know Him until we begin
studying about Him and talk to Him and walk with Him on a daily basis.

As we talk and walk with Him He fills us up with more and more knowledge of who He really is and
what it means to have Him living down on the inside of us.

He begins by giving us a CUP full:

Psalms 23:5
You prepare a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; my ‘cup’ runs over.

Then we may ask for more and He will give us WATERPOTS filled to the brim and dipped out by

John 2:6-7
Now there were set there six ‘waterpots’ of stone, according to the manner of purification of the
Jews, containing twenty or thirty gallons apiece. Jesus said to them, “Fill the ‘waterpots’ with
water.” And they filled them up to the brim. And He said to them, “Draw some out now, and take it to
the master of the feast.”

So we see if we desire to ‘know’ our Lord more intimately, He will give us more, but at the same time
pouring knowledge and understanding one pitcher full at a time.

If we continue to ask the Lord to show us even more of Himself He will give us VATS (or BARRELS)

Proverbs 3:10
So your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats (barrels) will over flow with new wine.

Now I know there are those of you who will still not be satisfied with even vats full of Him… we
will press in and press through until we see more of Jesus and His Words become like a WELL
springing up into everlasting life.

John 4:14
But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall
give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

I assure you when you reach this point……you have reached the point of no return…..! The Word of
God will begin burning within you to where it will….must…..burst forth into RIVERS of living water that
will begin flowing from within you outward to touch lost and dying souls.

John 7:38
“He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”

Now for the second part of Part II:

As we learn to walk with Jesus and the knowledge of Him begins growing as to who lives inside of
us, we learn that as Christians we are no longer just fleshly body’s, fulfilling the flesh’s every desire,
but ‘spiritual’ beings living inside a fleshly body, desiring to please God. We also understand that
Jesus takes us step by step towards our destiny. He does not put us on the battlefield without
equipping us first.

The Word says that after we learn of Him, acknowledging Him and accepting Him as Lord and Savior
of our life we are to grow and desire to know Him intimately.

I Peter 2:2-3
As newborn babes, desire the ‘pure’ milk of the Word; that you may grow thereby, if indeed you
have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

Just as our spirit began to soar when Jesus took control of our heart, He begins to slow us down
and tells us to take one step at a time.

I Corinthians 2:6
However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature yet not the wisdom of this age, not of the
rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, that
hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory.

In the King James Version of the Word of God the word ‘mature’ is ‘perfect’ which in the Greek word
‘telelos’ (Strong’s #5046) means; grow mental and morally in character; be fully grown. So we see
the Holy Spirit of God first feeds us milk, than we begin eating soft food, such as pabulum (baby
food).  Next junior food before He reveals the meat of His Word.

With the Lord’s teachings and blessings He always warns us of impending dangers, because our
adversary is always trying to destroy us. He is always trying to cause us to decrease back to our
carnal nature; which cannot understand or please God.

I Corinthians 2:14
But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him;
nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

John 10:10
The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life,
and that they might have it more abundantly.

The Holy Spirit of God is continually teaching us and revealing to us who Jesus is and the power and
authority that is within us as a child of the King. This world and many of its leaders do not
understand the ways of Jesus and righteousness, so Jesus warns His disciples of perilous times to

There is a sad part to all this and that is we so quickly forget what the Holy Spirit teaches. In
Hebrews 5:12-14 the Lord rebukes His children because a lot of them are talking the talk but not
walking the walk and it is hurting the body of Christ. People are looking for Truth that makes a
CHANGE; something that makes a DIFFERENCE. Listen to what the Lord says:

Hebrews 5:12-14
For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first
principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food. For everyone
who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness for he is a babe. But solid food
belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses
exercised to discern both good and evil.

We are suppose to be growing up in Christ. We are suppose to be the examples as Christ was our
example. We have the Book of books, the written Word of God, the Road Map. I ask today where are
you standing?

Are you standing on the front line, interceding? Are you kneeing at the feet of Jesus pleading for the
body of Christ?

Are we crying out to God against the evil of this generation? Are we taking a stand for righteous
living, or our we compromising, complacent and self-indulging?

Are we living the life that is pleasing to God; separated from the world, where one day He will say,
“Well done thy good and faithful servant?”

It is time we check our life and see what we are doing, or not doing. It is time we bow before our
King, repent and allow Him to talk to us.

Just as Jesus taught His disciples the Holy Spirit of God is teaching us today. We must be ready to
stand up and fight, despite what the plan of the enemy is:

John 16:2
They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think
that he doeth God service.

The Holy Spirit admonishes us to continue seeking spiritual gifts to lift up the body of Christ and to
walk close to our Master and Friend:

I Corinthians 14:1
Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.

John 15:13-14
Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. You are My friends if
you do whatever I command you.

The word ‘desire’ in the Greek is ‘zeloo’ (Strong’s #2206) meaning: to be zealous for, to burn with
desire, to pursue eagerly or intensely.

You may ask, “Why does the Lord tell us to ‘desire’ this gift?” I will answer because whether
corporately or individually it edifies, comforts and encourages the body (individual) to stand fast in
the faith and pursue Christ with all our heart, mind, body and soul. When we speak encouraging
words to someone, or corporately, it is the Holy Ghost speaking through us to admonish a body or
weaker vessel.

This gift was encouraged by Peter and Paul believing that every believer should allow the Holy Spirit
to anoint them with this gift to edify the church. When anointed with this gift, loving words that build
up and cause hearts to humble and crumble before God begin to flow and people begin worshipping
God in spirit and truth.

I Peter 4:11
If anyone speaks, let him speak, as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the
ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom
belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

I Corinthians 14:31
For you can all prophesy one by one, that all may learn and all may be encouraged.

So as we said before and say again the body of Christ needs to be encouraged today to be able to
‘resist’ satan and his ploys against the body. We need to be encouraged to ‘stand’ fast in the mist of
the storm and be ready for battle. We need to ‘know’ and ‘put on’ the ‘whole’ armor of God to defeat
our foe……..remembering Jesus has already won the war!

Ephesians 6:11-18
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we
do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers
of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore
take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done
all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of
righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all,
taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying
always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance
and supplication for all the saints.

In this lesson we see that as we desire Christ more and more, He gives us more and more as He
sees He can trust. First a Cup then Waterpots/dipped with a pitcher, next a Barrel, a Well and then
Rivers; one step at a time ever increasing our knowledge and understanding of who He is that lives
inside us.

Jesus will not put on us any more than we can handle at one time; first by feeding us milk, then
pabulum before He gives us steak; or the meat of the Word.

May the Holy God begin stirring up the gift within you as you read this Word from His heart.
In Christ love and the fellowship of
His body
